Description

The Std Plot SG histogram command creates a frequency histogram.

Usage

  1. There are several ways to invoke the command:
    • Press the Std Plot SG histogram.svg Std Plot SG histogram button.
    • Select the Plot → Statistical Graph → Std Plot SG histogram.svg Histogram option from the menu.

Note

This command creates a frequency histogram of the selected data columns in the active table window. The default binning uses 10 steps between the maximum and the minimum values. The command plots a frequency distribution that is computed from your data. If you want to draw a histogram directly from data values, use the Bars plot instead.
