Introduction
The Std Tools Menu is one of the 7 sub-menus in the standard menu:

The Tools menu provides tools for debugging models, customizing LabRPS's behavior, as well as auxiliary tools.
Tools
The following tools are available in this menu:
- Edit parameters...: Opens a dialog box giving access to the parameters that control the program.
- Export dependency graph...: Exports the dependency graph to Graphviz file.
- Project utility...: Assists in repairing damaged project files.
- Alphaplot: opens up a sub-menu of commands for plotting.
- Plot: opens up a sub-menu of commands for plotting.
- Line: creates graphs consisting of lines.
- Scatter: opens up a sub-menu of additional commands for plotting specialized graphs consisting of scatters.
- Scatter: plots data using "scatter" style.
- Scatter With X Err: creates graphs consisting of scatters with x error.
- Scatter With Y Err: creates graphs consisting of scatters with y error.
- Scatter With XY Err: creates graphs consisting of scatters with xy error.
- Line + Symbol: plots data using "Line + Symbol".
- Special Line + Symbol: opens up a sub-menu of additional commands for plotting graphs with "special line + symbol" style.
- Vertical Drop Lines: plots data using "Vertical drop lines" style.
- Spline: plots data using "Spline" style.
- Vertical Steps: plots data using "Vertical Steps" style.
- Horizontal Steps: plots data using "Horizontal Steps" style.
- Vertical Bars: plots data using "Vertical Bars" style.
- Vertical Stacked Bars: plots data using "Vertical Stacked Bars" style.
- Vertical Grouped Bars: plots data using "Vertical Grouped Bars" style.
- Horizontal Bars: plots data using "Horizontal Bars" style.
- Horizontal Stacked Bars: plots data using "Horizontal Stacked Bars" style.
- Horizontal Grouped Bars: plots data using "Horizontal Grouped Bars" style.
- Area: creates a line graph with the areas below the lines filled with colors.
- Channel Fil: plots data using "Channel Fil" style.
- Pie: creates a pie chart
- Half Pie: creates a half pie chart
- Vectors XYXY: creates a vectors plot.
- Vectors XYAM: creates a vectors plot.
- Statistical Graph: opens up a sub-menu of commands for plotting various statistical graphs
- Box Plot: creates a box plot.
- Histogram: creates a frequency histogram.
- Stacked Histogram: creates vertically stacked layers displaying the histograms of the selected data.
- 3D Plot: opens a sub-menu of commands used to draw some common 3D plots.
- Layout Grids: opens a sub-menu of commands that can be used to quickly obtain some commonly used arrangements of multiple plots.
- Vertical 2 Layouts: creates 2 vertically stacked layers.
- Horizontal 2 Layouts: Creates 2 horizontally stacked layers.
- 4(2x2) Layouts: creates 4 layers on a 2x2 grid.
- 3D Plot: opens up a sub-menu of commands for 3D plotting.
- 3D Wire Frame: makes a 3D plot of the selected matrix using the "3D mesh" style.
- 3D Surface: makes a 3D plot of the selected matrix using the "3D polygons" style.
- 3D Wire Frame Surface: makes a 3D plot of the matrix using the "3D polygons" style with the mesh drawn.
- Bar: makes a 3D plot of the selected data column in the active table window (only one column allowed) using the "3D Bars" style.
- Scatter: makes a 3D plot of the selected data column in the active table window (only one column allowed) using the "3D Dots" style.
- Contour + Color Fill: makes a color map plot of the data in the active matrix window.
- Countour Lines: makes a contour plot of the data in the active matrix window.
- Gray Scale Map: makes a gray map plot of the data in the active matrix window.
- 3D Wire Frame Polar: makes a 3D radial plot of the selected matrix using the "3D mesh" style.
- 3D Surface Polar: makes a 3D radial plot of the selected matrix using the "3D polygons" style.
- 3D Wire Frame Surface Polar: makes a 3D radial plot of the matrix using the "3D polygons" style with the mesh drawn.
- 3D Scatter Polar: makes a 3D radial plot of the selected data column in the active table window (only one column allowed) using the "3D Dots" style.
- Polar spectrogram: makes polar spectrogram.
- Graph: opens up a sub-menu of commands for graph.
- Add/Remove Plot xy/xy...: allows easy addition or removal of curves from the active plot layer.
- Add Function...: adds new function curves to an existing layer.
- Add Error Bars...: adds error bars to X and/or Y values on an existing plot.
- Add/Remove Other Plots...: provides access to submenus that are used to add or remove plots.
- Add/Remove Plot y...: allows easy addition or removal of curves from the active plot layer.
- Add/Remove Vector Plot...: allows easy addition or removal of vector plots from the active plot layer.
- Add Axis...: provides access to submenus that allow to add axis to the active plot layer.
- Add Left Axis: adds left axis to the active plot layer.
- Add Bottom Axis: adds bottom axis to the active plot layer.
- Add Right Axis: adds right axis to the active plot layer.
- Add Top Axis: adds top axis to the active plot layer.
- Legend Reorder: reorders the legend.
- Add Text: adds text items on a layer.
- Add Time Stamp: adds a special label in the active layer which contains the current date and time.
- Add Image: opens a file dialog allowing you to select an image to be added to the active plot layer.
- Draw Line: draws a line shape on the active plot layer.
- Draw Arrow: draws an arrow shape on the active plot layer.
- Draw Ellipse: draws a elliptical shape on the active plot layer.
- Add Nested Layout: adds nested layouts.
- Add Layout: provides access to submenus that allow to add layouts.
- Remove Layout: removes layout.
- Swap Layouts...: swaps layouts.
- Graph Tolls: opens up a sub-menu of commands for graph tools.
- Disable Tools: is used to exit special modes.
- Data Rearder: gives easy and quick access to the values of a data points..
- Screen Reader: displays the coordinates of the cursor with respect to the axes..
- Select Data Range: shows two vertical line cursors that are used for selecting a data range when performing analysis operations.
- Move Data Points: allows modification of the position of data points on the active plot layer by simple drag-and-drop.
- Remove Bad Data Points...: allows removal of data points from the active plot layer by double-clicking on them.
- Drag Range: switches the active plot layer into a dynamic drag mode.
- Zoom Range: switches the active plot layer into a dynamic zoom mode.
- Rescale To Show All: rescales all to fit in the window.
- Table: opens up a sub-menu of commands for table.
- Set Column(s) As: opens a sub-menu of command that are used to define the kind of data stored in the various columns of a table.
- X: defines the selected column as X-values for the plots.
- Y: defines the selected column as Y-values for the plots
- Z: defines the selected column as Z-values for the plots
- X Error: define the selected column for use as the error bar width for the abscissae.
- Y Error: define the selected column for use as the error bar heights for the Y-values.
- None: sets the selected column as none of the above.
- Fill Selection With: provides access to submenus that are used to fill selected columns with special values.
- Row Numbers: fills each cell in the column with its corresponding row number.
- Random Values: fills each cell in the column with a random value between 0 and 1.
- Custom Random: fills each cell in the column with a normally distributed random values.
- Show Comments: shows comments made on a column
- Show Controls: shows or hides the table control box used for editing each column properties.
- Formula Edit Mode: activates the formula edit mode.
- Edit Column Description: allows to edit column description.
- Change Type & Format: changes column type and format.
- Clear Table: removes all the values of the table.
- Sort Table: sorts the table.
- Assign Formula: assigns formula.
- Recalculate: recalculates the values of the selected column.
- Add Column: adds a new column to the table.
- Go To Cell: opens a dialog which allows you to select the column index.
- Export ASCII...: opens a dialog that exports one or more ASCII files.
- Convert To Matrix: converts the table to a matrix.
- Set Column(s) As: opens a sub-menu of command that are used to define the kind of data stored in the various columns of a table.
- Matrix: opens up a sub-menu of commands for matrix.
- Hide Controls: hides the matrix controls box.
- Set Coordinates: sets the matrix coordinates.
- Set Display Format: sets the display format for the matrix.
- Assign Formula: assigns formula to the matrix.
- Recalculate: recalculates the matrix cell values using a predefined formula.
- Clear Matrix: clears the matrix cells.
- Transpose: performs a transpose operation on the selected matrix.
- Mirror Horizontally: mirrors the matrix horizontally.
- Mirror Vertically: mirrors the matrix vertically.
- Import Image: imports an image.
- Go To Cell: opens a dialog that allows you to find a cell by its index.
- Invert: inverts a matrix.
- Determinant: computes the determinant of the selected matrix.
- Convert To Table: convert the matrix to table.
- Plot: opens up a sub-menu of commands for plotting.
- Add text document: Creates an object capable of holding text.
- Group: Creates new group for ordering objects.
- Units Calculator provides quick conversions between measurement systems, ex mm to inches.
- Customize...: Opens a dialog box with customization options.
- RPS Features...: Opens a dialog box allowing for RPS features installation.
- Addon manager: Opens the Addon manager with which external workbenches, preference packs, plugins and macros can be installed.
